Breathe Life Sciences (a wholly owned subsidiary of ASX listed Bioxyne Limited) is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical product manufacturer located in Meadowbrook, Brisbane.
Given the rapid expansion of the business the Company requires a full time Accounts Payable Clerk to manage payables and Inventory at its Meadowbrook location in Brisbane. This position reports to line management in Meadowbrook and COO and is supported by a Finance Team located in Sydney.
This role will play a crucial role in the management of the business’s financial operations, including stock and product management, invoicing, and supplier management. Working closely with inwards logistics and finance teams, you will ensure the financial processes underpinning the business are adhered to and that the business finances are managed in a timely and professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Payables
Verifying and processing of creditor invoices
Daily bank reconciliation
Managing approval proves and processing of creditor invoices into Xero daily, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
Manage the verification of unit costs in unleashed system.
Ensure all inventory-related invoices have a corresponding purchase order as a reference.
Maintain a payment log for inventory suppliers to ensure payment terms.
Perform daily payment reconciliations in Xero
Interface with customers and following up outstanding accounts
Weekly online meeting with accounts team in Sydney
Generating reports
Generating creditor statements
General accounting duties related to accounts payable
Corporate credit card reconciliation
Ensuring Credit cards have available funds
Manage the payment of expense claims approval
Expenditure management
Set up and reconcile pay runs for expenditure on the 7th and 12th of each month
Set up international payments via Westpac/Ebury.
Reconcile the prepayment account and prepare a monthly reconciliation report.
Conduct monthly reviews of GST.
Prepare the accounts payable section of the 6-week cash flow forecast report on a weekly basis.
Set up and process urgent payments as required
Participate in meetings as required including team meetings and 1x1s
Any other duties as required
KEY REQURIEMENTS
3 yrs experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated experience within a dynamic environment with exposure across accounting and/inventory management.
Experience with MYOB/Xero
Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills when dealing with creditors and/or internal stakeholders.
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel.
Reliability and flexibility to work within a changing and fast paced environment.
A friendly and collaborative demeanour to work within a cohesive finance team.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Willing to undertake a police check, with a clean history
