We have a fresh opportunity for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team, located at our Eagle Farm Head Office - this is an initial part-time 6 month contract.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring our creditors receive accurate and timely payments in accordance with company and statutory regulations.

About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Officer you'll be responsible for:
Receive, review and prepare vendor invoices for processing
Prepare weekly payment runs, including the preparation of bank EFT and BPAY Files
Post all relevant financial transactions and journals, including intercompany account transfers into the company ledger
Reconcile vendor account balances to vendor statements and assist with vendor enquiries in relation to invoices and payments
Input all relevant details into our ERP systems including the reconciliation of GST amounts while ensuring our vendor master data is correctly maintained and up-to-date
About You
In looking for a valuable addition to our team, our ideal candidate will have:
2 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Comfortable working within a team as well as independently
A high attention to detail with demonstrated strong organisational and time management capabilities
ERP Experience with D365 Microsoft Dynamics or AX Dynamics – huge bonus!
