We’re seeking an experienced Principal Consultant with strong sales & leadership abilities to join our team and take ownership of key client relationships, candidate placements, and the development of a high-performing team.

The Role
The Commercial Manager will oversee three desks, managing key areas across the Commercial Cleaning & Security, Waste & Construction, and Commercial Energy sectors.
Day-to-Day Includes:
Oversee and be accountable for the gross profit performance across Division 1
Ensure teams adhere to company methodologies, sales processes, and service standards.
Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and performance of three teams that consists of 3x Senior Consultants (report to you) and 9x Executive Consultants (3 per Senior Consultant)
Monitor, track, and report on gross profit targets for each desk.
Oversee client invoicing processes and ensure timely payment collection.
Maintain separation of financial relationships from delivery teams to allow Consultants to focus on service and results.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
Support business development strategies, particularly for sales and leadership roles across industries.
Drive performance in our niche recruitment markets primarily sales roles (BDMs) and executive leadership positions (CEO, COO, etc.).
Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial management or a similar leadership role, ideally within a recruitment or sales-driven environment.
Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting revenue and sales.
Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a track record of managing client relationships and driving repeat business.
Experience in overseeing multiple teams or desks, ensuring adherence to sales processes, service standards, and target achievement.
Demonstrated ability to drive business development, particularly in niche markets such as sales and executive leadership recruitment.
