About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Services Manager/Senior Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in our Sydney office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to play a key strategic role in providing high-quality business advisory services to a diverse range of clients across various industries and HNWIs, with a clear pathway to Partnership.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and manage a portfolio of clients, continuously building and maintaining strong relationship with clients

Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals

Review and manage delivery of client advice

Prioritise, delegate and review tax compliance jobs including the annual financial statements, tax returns, activity statements, FBT other tax compliance requirements.

Provide guidance and practical advice to clients on a wide range of financial and commercial matters

Provide complex tax advice, including Div 7A, FBT, CGT concession, international tax, restructures and etc.

Collaborate closely with partners to shape the firm's service offerings, improve efficiency, streamline and implement new systems & procedures

What we're looking for

Proven track record of 7+ years within an Australian public practice firm

Minimum 3 years of team management and client relationship management experience

Strong knowledge of Australian taxation law

Experience in tax advisory/research skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong interpersonal skills

Experience with XPM, BGL/Class and SharePoint

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field, and CA or CPA Qualified (required)
