This is a progressive, full-service accounting firm with over 25 years in the industry, led by ex BIG4 Partners. With 50 staff and 4 principals, they are known for delivering an exceptional service to a wide variety of clients, from thriving SMEs to high-net-worth individuals, many within the pharmacy, real estate, and property development industries.

We are partnering to find a Senior Accountant with experience across both Business Services and SMSF to join a friendly, forward-thinking team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, client interaction, and working with both complex groups and SMSF's.

What you'll be doing

• Managing 150-160 SMSF's (reviewing work)
• Assisting with the business services work for a variety of clients - compliance & advisory tasks.
• Exposure to client groups with up to 60 entities
• Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and providing strategic tax and business advice
• SMSF compliance including financial statements, tax returns, and liaison with auditors
• Reviewing work from junior staff onshore & offshore and providing mentorship
• Direct client interaction and relationship management
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and adding value to client engagements

About you

• CA/CPA qualified or near completion
• Strong experience in both Business Services and SMSF compliance
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
