As our Partnership Manager, you will work closely with both new and existing partners to develop and execute effective sponsorship campaigns. You will represent the QRL at key events, including the State of Origin and collaborate with internal and external teams to create comprehensive partnership plans. WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Partnerships Manager takes the lead in understanding QRL Partners’ goals, maximising their opportunities and ensuring they’re delivered. We’ve broken it down a little for you:

• Delivering exceptional, integrated sponsorship campaigns.
• Developing strong relationships with partners by understanding their needs and consistently delivering results beyond their expectations. Act as the conduit between the partner and the QRL.
• Preparing robust partnership plans, including detailed budgets.
• Create and maintain regular communication schedules.
• Deliver benchmarking, reporting, and analysis to partners.
• Work with both internal teams and external stakeholders to create and implement customized campaigns tailored to partner needs.
• Work with the Senior Commercial Manager to develop and implement an annual partnership engagement plan aligned with the overarching sponsorship strategy.
• Attend events as a QRL representative to build and strengthen partner relationships and drive engagement.
• Oversee the management of State of Origin partner events, signage, memorabilia, and ticketing to ensure seamless delivery.
• Work with the Senior Commercial Manager to help design and execute a strategic plan for partner renewals as they come up, to support the long-term financial sustainability of QRL and its partners.
• Contribute to new business planning and ideation as relevant

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• An undergraduate degree in Business with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Previous experience with CRM
• Knowledge of Adobe Design programs an advantage but not essential
• Significant experience in account management and digital and commercial partnerships
• A sound understanding of budget management and governance
• Demonstrated understanding of analytics, measurement and media values
• Highly developed written and verbal communication, including skills in networking
• Demonstrated ability to create, present and deliver leading edge concepts to a successful conclusion
• Ability to apply a firm but consistent approach and to be authentic in dealings with all stakeholders

ROLE SPECS

This is a maximum-term contract for 10 months. The position is full-time and the salary for this position is $90,000 plus superannuation. QRL remunerate based on the position requirements to ensure gender pay equity in sport.
