Our client is a Government Organisation who are seeking Senior Citrix / VDI Engineer to join their team.

The position will join the End User Services team to provide technical support to staff and customers, assist in developing solutions for Whole of Government identified issues and participate in assigned project work. The role will focus on developing and supporting the Citrix platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of Citrix XenApp/PVS/CVAD Server Farms across development, test, and production environments.
   
2. Provide ongoing monitoring, maintenance, development, and implementation of the Citrix server environment including load balancing, publishing/un-publishing of applications.
   
3. Perform Citrix patch evaluation, testing and implementation for Citrix XenApp, Citrix PVS, CVAD and Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022.
   

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated high level experience in managing and supporting Citrix and other VDI Infrastructure.
   
2. Demonstrated high level knowledge and extensive experience in monitoring and maintaining the health of the Citrix Infrastructure including load balancing and the publishing/un-publishing of applications.
   
3. Knowledge and extensive experience supporting Windows Desktop, Windows Server operating systems i
   
4. Knowledge and experience in supporting Microsoft Azure VDI technologies and platforms.
   

On offer is a 6-month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
