Alfresco Emporium is a leading Australian homewares and lifestyle brand, renowned for timeless style, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional service. We are seeking a Customer Care & Stock Co-ordinator to join our Brookvale head office team for a 12-month maternity leave contract.
This unique role combines customer service excellence with stock and operational coordination. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers while also ensuring stores are replenished with the right products at the right time.
About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will:
Customer Care
Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries received via phone, email, web, store staff, and Gorgias
Provide prompt, positive, and solution-focused responses to customer enquiries, orders, and complaints
Process orders, quotes, deliveries, returns, refunds, and credits in line with company guidelines
Liaise with trade and styling clients, offering tailored order support
Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve product or service issues
Stock & Sales Coordination
Review sales data and manage the daily/weekly replenishment of store stock
Allocate new stock arrivals between stores and HQ, ensuring timely distribution
Support Online Dispatch operations, providing guidance to the dispatch team when needed
Assist with seasonal duties such as Christmas product coordination and supervising seasonal staff
Operational Support
Maintain accurate records using Cin7, Shopify, Shippit, and Gorgias
Coordinate with courier companies to ensure smooth, on-time deliveries
Assist with special projects as required
About You
Proven experience in customer service, operations, or stock coordination (retail or e-commerce preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with sound problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Cin7, Shopify, Gorgias, and Shippit highly regarded
Collaborative, hands-on approach with a willingness to assist across departments
Understanding of stock control and WHS practices
