We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Better Accounting Solutions. As a part-time role, you will be providing expert tax and accounting services to our growing client base. What you'll be doing

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, take ownership of workflow, and mentor junior staff. You will work directly with the Director, contributing to strategic decisions and helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs

Provide tax planning and business advisory services to clients

Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines and compliance obligations are met

Supervise, review, and mentor junior accountants

Build and maintain strong client relationships

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Australian public practice accounting

CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)

Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws and compliance

Expertise in individual, business and SMSF taxation

Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach

Ability to manage deadlines and work independently

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry changes
