AgriFutures Australia is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Finance Coordinator to join our high-performing Corporate Team. Based in Wagga Wagga, this hands-on role is ideal for an experienced administrator or early-career finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a Full-time, 6 Month Contract.

About the Role

Reporting to the Corporate Accountant, you will:

  • Support the Finance Team with daily financial operations, including invoice processing, reimbursements, and weekly payment runs
  • Monitor and manage the Finance inbox and ticketing system
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable systems, including e-invoicing and reconciliation tasks
  • Maintain the Credit Card Register, onboard new staff, and coordinate annual declarations
  • Provide back-up support for payroll functions during high-demand periods or staff absences
  • Assist with general finance administration and reporting
  • Provide executive support to the General Manager, Corporate, including diary management, travel bookings, and document preparation
  • Coordinate internal meetings and assist in corporate governance functions as required
  • Contribute to the smooth running of corporate systems, policies, and compliance initiatives
  • Support a positive team culture through reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail

About You

You are a team player with a "can-do" attitude, known for your strong organisational skills and commitment to getting the details right. Whether you're reconciling financial records, assisting with travel arrangements, or supporting governance processes, you bring a sense of ownership to everything you do. You are confident working independently and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.

Skills and Experience

Mandatory:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative or finance support role
  • High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing workloads
  • Experience providing executive support or working closely with senior managers
  • Current driver's licence
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development in finance, administration, or governance

Desirable:

  • Experience or training in bookkeeping or finance
  • Knowledge of the Australian agriculture industry
  • Familiarity with compliance or corporate governance processes
