About Us
Kinchela Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation (KBHAC) is a not-for-profit Aboriginal community-controlled organisation established to help restore and reconstruct the identity, dignity and integrity of Aboriginal men who were forcibly removed from their families and put into the Kinchela Boys Home (KBH).
Founded by Survivors, KBHAC’s mission has evolved to address the intergenerational trauma experienced by Survivors, their families, and descendants. Today, KBHAC delivers a growing range of Social, Community, Home Care and Disability programs from its Sydney and Kempsey offices, employing more than 40 staff.
Our model is unique – we are a Survivor-led organisation that centres healing, empowerment, and self-determination in everything we do.
