Finance Officer | Permanent | Mascot | Up to $85k + Super

We are seeking an extremely organised and ambitious Finance Officer to support the finance and payroll functions of a growing organisation in Mascot. This role would suit a junior finance professional, looking to gain experience in a fast-paced industry, and develop their knowledge of accounts and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchase orders and process invoices
• Full-cycle payroll processing across the business to ensure compliance and achieve ATO & superannuation legislative obligations
• Keep payroll records and ensure ATO & superannuation legislation compliance
• Manage bank settlements and reconcile financial transactions
• Support budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits
• Ad hoc support to the finance department

About You:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 1–2 years’ experience in a finance or payroll support role
• Keen interest in developing payroll knowledge
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to take on constructive feedback and ask questions
• Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities
