The Role
We are seeking a dedicated HR professional, based in Perth, to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis as soon as possible, on a maximum term contract until October 2026 to cover maternity leave.
This is an exciting role that covers a wide range of HR responsibilities across multiple jurisdictions, supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. The HR professional plays a key role in employee relations, offering trusted guidance to staff and leadership on various HR matters.
Additionally, the role supports people and culture initiatives, including employee engagement, capability programs, and culture-building efforts. It requires excellent judgement, an understanding of employment law, and strong communication skills to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders, including legal advisors, senior leaders, and staff.
About you
You have two or more years of experience in a similar HR role.
A good understanding of Australian employment law or a willingness to learn. Experience across other jurisdictions is a bonus.
Can manage sensitive matters with discretion and maturity.
Thrives in an environment with variety and evolving priorities.
Brings practical judgement and experience to people related challenges and improvements, while being happy to roll up your sleeves for operational delivery.
Proficiency in using HRIS/CRM systems such as BambooHR, with the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
