Weitj Investments is an innovative impact-focused private investment office and catalyst for a series of Aboriginal-owned entities, spanning industry sectors such as security, catering, food manufacturing, film, technology, tourism and a not-for-profit.

The combined business portfolio currently employs over 130 people and is underpinned by award-winning Aboriginal Employment and Engagement programs.

The Group has invested heavily in leading-edge Human Resources software and operates within a robust corporate structure of senior management and payroll support.

Over the next twelve months, our strong pipeline of initiatives – including new ventures and venue openings – will see a significant increase in our employee headcount.

As part of this growth phase, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrator to provide day-to-day HR support across the Group. This role is central to keeping our HR operations running smoothly and ensuring our people are well supported.

About the Role

· Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across multiple entities.

· Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate communications, and interview coordination.

· Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

· Maintain employee records and HR databases using advanced HR software.

· Prepare contracts, letters, and HR correspondence.

· Assist with performance management documentation and review scheduling.

· Provide first-point-of-contact support for HR-related queries.

· Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and Australian workplace legislation.

· Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, with a focus on Aboriginal employment and culturally safe workplaces.

About You

· Previous experience in an HR administration or coordinator role.

· Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee lifecycle, and compliance requirements.

· High attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

· Adaptability and resilience to manage competing priorities.

Qualifications & Experience

· Certificate or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline (or working toward).

· Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in HR administration or similar role.

· Familiarity with Australian workplace relations and compliance frameworks.

· Experience using HR software systems (desirable).

· Cultural awareness and respect for Aboriginal culture.
