About the job:
The Process Improvement and Logistics Analyst is responsible for driving operational enhancements across optimising operational efficiency, asset management and logistics functions. Using continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean and Six Sigma, the role focuses on analysing existing workflows, resolving inefficiencies, and boosting productivity and cost-effectiveness.
This position leads process optimisation initiatives, oversees the management of spare parts inventory, movement and tracking of lift equipment between sites, and ensures alignment across teams by fostering clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in process improvement, systems implementation or quality assurance roles.
Tertiary qualifications in engineering, operations, quality assurance, supply chain, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Knowledge of quality standards and experience developing and supporting quality management systems.
Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SIMPRO highly preferred).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Knowledge of elevator equipment is essential
Knowledge of simPRO workplace processes management system is advantageous
Forklift license is essential
Own vehicle is essential
Responsibilities
Develop and implement process improvement strategies by analysing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and applying methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Lead, implement, optimize, and manage processes to ensure the efficient movement and tracking of assets and equipment between projects and warehouses.
Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure improvement outcomes.
Manage stock levels of goods and spare parts and the movement of assets and equipment, both physically and on the company’s simPRO platform.
Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding across departments and teams.
Ensure all operations align with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and company policies.
Duties
Conduct workflow studies to assess existing processes and recommend improvements
Coordinate and carry out the implementation of new continuous improvement processes and subsequently evaluate their results in the short and medium term.
Prepare regular reports on process improvement initiatives, logistics performance and project outcomes.
Prepare workflow charts, process documentation, operational manuals, and procedural guides.
Manage goods and spare parts stock levels and the movement of assets and equipment, both physically and on the company’s simPRO platform.
Coordinate and schedule shipments, pickups, and deliveries between warehouse, job sites, and suppliers.
Organise unpacking of containers, auditing contents for compliance, and updating inventory systems.
Facilitate placement and removal of containers after unloading.
Assist technicians with requirements related to equipment and client assets.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in continuous improvement.
Occupational Safety & Health.
Knowledge of duty of care, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
License to Perform High Risk Work.
