With the project workload reaching a higher level, an exciting, multifaceted role has arisen for a Mechanical Design Draftsperson to join the team and commence work immediately at our Pakenham Branch.

As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson with a keen eye for details and the ability to work independently. Necessary to your success within this position will be your concentrated experience in mechanical design and your ability to work well in a small team of highly driven professionals. Your ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders; including engineers, builders and on-site staff where necessary will also bode well for you.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering OR demonstration of relevant industry experience. I.E Trade background
• Proficiency in producing accurate mechanical drawings
• Strong skills acquired from on-the-job projects experience (Inventor or AutoCAD experience is essential)
• Working knowledge and understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
• Ability to manage internal projects and staff from design through to delivery.
• Strong team management focus.

The remuneration package on offer will be commensurate with demonstrated skills and experience.
