Senior Product Design Engineer - Plastics
$100 - 120K + Super
Melbourne – Hybrid WFH


The Company
Our Melbourne based client are an established, family-owned organisation who develop and manufacture a vast range of sustainable plastics for large retail companies globally. With their HQ based in Melbourne they are operating across 35+ countries worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting concept designs into Solidworks and ensuring parts are resolved to a tool ready stage.
• Collaborating & communicating with tooling engineers to move projects through to manufacture.
• Reviewing and approving tool CAD.
• Monitoring timelines and status of products.
• Mentoring junior designers and engineers.

Your Background/Experience

• Tertiary qualifications across Product Design Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years’ industry experience.
• Must have extensive experience with injection moulded products & thin layered plastics.
• Must have extensive Solidworks experience, particularly with master modelling & surface modelling.
