Our client is looking for a skilled Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join their growing Melbourne team. In this role, you’ll oversee the preparation and upkeep of key design documents for our home collection, ensuring they meet building codes and industry standards. Working closely with the team, you’ll help improve our drafting tools and workflows, applying your practical building knowledge to produce clear, consistent, and construction-friendly plans.

What You’ll Do

Conducting and preparing diagrams, charts, tables, plans, and designs for the company’s related civil projects.

Executing, managing and following up on both fieldwork and laboratory testings on related materials.

Reading and understanding, interpreting the assigned instructions, implementing suitable procedures, and choosing the suitable tools, machinery, equipment.

Working to gather, calculate and perform detailed data analysis for each assigned project.

Coordinate with other team members to budget the arising costs.

Ensure all tasks for each project to be completed under related regulations, standards and procedures.

Reviewing civil works and planning as well as managing maintenance and repair operations.

Other related tasks assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related)

Extensive knowledge and at least 2-3 experience in civil engineering work

Strong technical drawing and documentation skills

Capability to interpret and implement project instructions, procedures, and equipment selection

Proficient in managing fieldwork and laboratory testing, with proven experience in coordinating project budgets

Good problem-solving, data analysis, and project coordination abilities

Clear communication and strong teamwork skills
