Position Profile:

The Organisational Development Consultant (Aboriginal Workforce) position works collaboratively across the organisation and within the People and Culture team to develop and implement organisational development (OD) strategies, plans, policies and initiatives across the East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) to improve organisational culture, capability and performance and assure compliance with legislative requirements.

This role will be responsible for:

Development and implementation of frameworks and initiatives to enable the objectives of our Aboriginal workforce action plan.

Enabling our Aboriginal employment plan including facilitating career forums, managing talent pipelines and brokering Aboriginal talent into employment opportunities.

Working with the learning and development team on our early career programs and acting as a mentor for young Aboriginal people in the early stages of their careers.

Implementation of our Aboriginal employee forum events (twice yearly).

Coordinating events for Aboriginal culturally significant days.

Preparation of progress reporting for our Aboriginal Workforce initiatives.
