Ayan Infotech are looking for an SAP Finance Operations Lead / Manager for a full time permanent or fixed term (12 to 24 months) contract in Sydney.

We are looking for an SAP Operations Lead / Manager to support and manage the SAP Finance platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across SAP FICO modules, working knowledge of CATS and Reinsurance, and at least 4 years of experience in a lead or managerial role. Familiarity with FSCD and RE-FX is a strong advantage. This role demands both strategic oversight and active involvement in day-to-day operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a lead or managerial capacity within SAP operations.
• 10+ years of hands-on support across all SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, etc.).
• Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP integration points.
• Working knowledge of CATS and Reinsurance processes in SAP.
• Experience in managing SAP operations in a complex, regulated environment.
• Familiarity with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to have:

• Exposure to FSCD (Financial Services - Collections and Disbursements).
• Knowledge of RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management).
• Experience with S/4HANA environments.
• SAP certifications in relevant modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day SAP operations for finance, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.
• Provide hands-on support across all SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and defects in collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Support and enhance CATS (Cross-Application Time Sheet) processes and integrations.
• Manage reinsurance-related processes and ensure accurate financial postings.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis, Security, and Development teams for system changes and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and drive improvements in operational efficiency.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Due to the nature of the role, there is a requirement for seniority and availability to work with an offshore team on a regular basis.
