About the Role

We're on the lookout for a detail-driven finance professional ready to step into a broad, hands-on role supporting business performance from the inside out. If you enjoy working closely with decision-makers, thrive on structure, and love turning numbers into narratives, this role could be your next big move.

Working directly with senior leadership, you’ll lead the finance function while also playing a key role in operational planning and performance analysis. It’s a great opportunity for someone ready to step up, take ownership, and add real commercial value.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing day-to-day finance operations and internal reporting

Leading month-end close, reconciliations and P&L preparation

Preparing insightful variance analysis and performance commentary

Cashflow management and forecasting

Preparing year-end statutory accounts

Overseeing BAS, FBT, and GST submissions

Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and banks

Enhancing internal systems, processes and controls

Providing financial guidance to department heads

Contributing to business planning and improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring

3+ years’ experience in a finance/business operations role

CA or CPA qualified

Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication

Comfortable working with senior stakeholders

Ability to prioritise and problem-solve under pressure

Property sector experience is a bonus – not essential

In a tight-knit team, a willingness to pitch in where needed — including answering phones and supporting general office operations — is essential
