Our client, a well-established player in the financial services sector, is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Technical Operations Lead, supporting their DevOps function! This is an exciting opportunity to Manage and Lead a newly created team dedicated to supporting Infrastructure and Deployment processes, ensuring stable operations, smooth releases, and rapid issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Manage IT Operations: Oversee the daily operations of IT systems, ensuring that infrastructure is stable, secure, and fully aligned with business needs.
• Azure DevOps Management: Design, implement, and manage Azure-based DevOps pipelines and processes for efficient deployment, integration, and testing.
• Team Leadership: Delegate tasks, prioritize projects, and support team members in achieving business goals while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• The role will entail (5 technical Resources) and a hands-on guidance at times

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 3+ years' on-site Management/Leadership expertise
• Proven experience in IT operations leadership, DevOps and infrastructure.
• Solid background as an On-Prem and Azure infrastructure engineer.
• A strong DevSecOps mindset, with a comprehensive understanding of security principles and practices integrated into the development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in applying DevSecOps best practices to ensure secure code, infrastructure, and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and tools.
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible and adaptable approach to designing solutions and sharing ideas.
• Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Payments experience would be beneficial (not mandatory)
