At Diabetes Australia, we’re seeking a seasoned Finance Operations Manager to lead our financial operations with confidence and clarity. This is more than a technical role, it’s a strategic position that supports our mission to improve the lives of people affected by diabetes through advocacy, education, and support.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Leading and mentoring a high-performing finance team

Overseeing AP, AR, general ledger, and month-end close with precision

Partnering with our Grant Accounting & Financial Insights Manager to align operations and reporting

Strengthening compliance, risk controls, and audit readiness

Driving continuous improvement across systems and processes

What we’re looking for:

CA/CPA qualified, or equivalent experience in financial operations leadership

Proven track record in managing financial systems, controls, and compliance

Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams

Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and conceptual abilities

Sector experience in not-for-profit or government is a plus

Tech-savvy Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, and Power BI is highly regarded
