Luminous Kitchen is an Adelaide-based custom joinery and cabinetry manufacturer. We design, manufacture and install premium kitchens and smart cabinetry solutions for residential clients and commercial projects across South Australia.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a driven Sales Representative to grow our smart cabinetry business with property developers, builders, architects/designers, and homeowners. You’ll lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and technical presentations to quoting, spec‑in and post‑sale follow‑through—working closely with our design, factory and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a pipeline of developers/builders (B2B) and homeowners (B2C) for smart kitchens, wardrobes and integrated cabinetry.
Meet clients on site and in our showroom; conduct needs analysis and technical product demonstrations (e.g., smart lighting/sensors, integrated storage, control options).
Interpret plans/specifications, prepare take‑offs, solution proposals, and itemised quotations/tenders; present value and ROI.
Provide technical product advice (materials, hardware, finishes, smart integrations) and recommend configurations to meet budget and program.
Coordinate with design/production/installation to ensure specification accuracy, delivery timelines and quality; provide after‑sales support.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports and expense records; forecast and report on targets.
You’ll Bring
2–5+ years in technical/B2B sales—ideally building products, joinery, smart home, appliances, or related.
Ability to read drawings (plans/elevations) and explain technical features in clear, customer‑friendly language.
Working knowledge of smart home concepts (e.g., smart lighting, sensors, basic connectivity). Training provided.
Strong prospecting, negotiation and tender/quote skills; consistent follow‑through and after‑sales care.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across greater Adelaide/SA for client visits.
Bilingual (English/Chinese) advantageous given our multicultural client base.
