We are seeking a Technical Sales Support Representative to join our growing team. This is a critical role for a motivated individual who can work across both office-based and field-based environments.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Support Representative, you will be responsible for the promotion, demonstration, and sale of technical industrial safety equipment to both existing and prospective clients.

Your duties will include:

Identifying customer needs and providing product-based technical solutions

Managing a portfolio of industrial clients and developing new business opportunities

Conducting client visits, on-site demonstrations, and product training

Delivering a high standard of customer service and product knowledge

Meeting sales and gross margin targets

Reporting on sales activities, competitor trends, and market feedback

You will work closely with the DC Operations Team Leader, Inside Sales team, and State Sales Manager.

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.

Note: At least five years of relevant industry experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

A minimum of two years’ experience in technical or industrial sales

Strong knowledge of PPE, WHS compliance, and industrial safety equipment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Proven ability to build and manage client relationships and deliver tailored solutions

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

A current and valid driver’s licence (required for client site visits)
