SA Portable Long Service Leave – Construction Industry (SAPLSL-CI) administers portable long service leave entitlements for the South Australian construction industry in accordance with the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Act 1987.

As a Compliance Officer, you will interact with employers and employees of the construction industry to determine and resolve non-compliance with the legislation. Specific duties include:

Providing clear and accurate information to employers, employees, and other stakeholders

Conducting investigations

Conducting audits

Processing registrations

Performing complex retrospective calculations

Progressing relevant non-compliance matters through to legal proceedings

Undertaking transactional activities with excellent record keeping practices

About you:

Demonstrated experience in governance or legislative compliance

Experience in handling sensitive information with confidentiality

Sound knowledge of the processes for assessing compliance within a legislative framework including the practices for documenting and investigating issues of a litigious nature

Excellent MS suite skills with strengths in Excel
