About the role

This is a full-time WHS Officer role with Regional Workplace Safety Pty Ltd based in Gawler, South Australia. In this position, you will be based on a building site for the first 3 months. The role with then move to a hybrid role, visiting sites and working form home on occasions. Your focus will be on developing, implementing and maintaining effective workplace health and safety systems and procedures to support a safe work environment.

What you'll be doing

Conducting regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards

Developing, implementing and monitoring WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices

Investigating incidents and injuries, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Collaborating with clients assisting them with their safety and compliance needs

MUST HAVES:

Minimum Cert IV in WHS

White Card

Working with Children Check

What we're looking for

Excellent communication and client management skills

Ability to identify hazards and provide advice in a practical manner

Proficient in the use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
