The Place

Marchetti cafe is one of Brisbane's CBD coffee institutions. This popular, licensed Italian cafe is now looking for someone to take the lead in managing this Brisbane institution, and lead the small but tight team in looking after our much-loved customers and exceeding their expectations

The Role

As the face of the business, you will lead the team in delivering exceptional service alongside a premium product. You will oversee day-to-day operations, and staff management.

This is a great opportunity for a hospitality professional looking at moving into a more family-friendly working environment

Your Background

With a passion for all things coffee, you will be a gun on the coffee machine, and have a natural, relaxed style whilst working in this busy café. With a hands-on approach, you will nurture and develop your team whilst maintaining high standards, delivered in a service-positive style.

You may have managed cafes or restaurants in the past and looking to have a better 'work/life' balance with no nights or weekends, or have been working as a waiter/barista/team leader in a venue and feel you are now ready to take the next step in your career.

Minimum 2 years' experience in café management or 3+ years in a senior hospitality role

Experience in staff rostering and scheduling

Proven track record in inventory management and cost control

Knowledge of HACCP principles

Valid RSA certification
