About the role

Hanbus Trust is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our bustling Espresso Bar/Cafe in the heart of Brisbane CBD. As our Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of Baristas and FOH staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving the cafe's financial performance. This full-time role offers the opportunity to join a well-established hospitality group and make a lasting impact on our thriving business.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, and cost control

Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive dining experience for our patrons

Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the cafe's performance, increase revenue, and enhance operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Foster a positive and engaging work environment for the cafe team

Collaborate with the broader Hanbus Trust management team to align the cafe's operations with the company's overall vision and goals

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a cafe or restaurant management role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results

Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
