We at The Zimmermann Oz are a Passive House certified German construction & import company and pride ourselves in the high quality of work we do.
We mainly do new builds and renovations with a focus of low energy and carbon neutral construction methods but also in importing building materials and are working on projects in Victoria and Queensland.
Our aim is it to change the way Australia is building homes and provide a new healthier living experience.
About the role
We are looking for an Office administrator with knowledge in construction and sales.
If you are highly self-motivated, have great attention to detail and would like to be part of a genuine, down-to-earth team, this might be just what you're looking for.
Tasks will include but not limited to researching prices and additional information as required such a contacts, contractors etc preparing posts for social media networks, assisting with liaising with suppliers and architects, supporting in estimating, following up on quotes and other support as required.
There is always something happening and we are grateful for a helping hand in the office to help us deliver another great project for our customers while we are out there doing what we do best: build and renovate.

About you:
You have excellent communication skills and be thoroughly computer literate and are capable of working unsupervised.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word for daily business operations
You are self-motivated, able to show initiative, can identify priorities and organise your time.
Experience in administration of a Construction business is preferred.
Minimum 2 years' experience in construction industry administration, particularly in residential construction
High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Administration support, customer service and reception
Assisting and supporting Estimator as well as sales support/processes
Understanding of Social Media management and marketing is a plus
Experience in Buildxact preferred
Experience with construction management software Buildxact preferred and basic accounting software Xero.
You have experience in sale
Experience in construction-related sales, including handling customer enquiries and supporting the sales process
Full working rights in Australia are required for this position
