About the role

This position is responsible for planning and coordinating requests for work near High Voltage Equipment, ensuring safe and compliant isolation of the Traction Distribution System. It plays a critical role in developing Isolation Earthing Plans and supporting the safe execution of work across the network, with a strong focus on adherence to operational procedures and safety standards.

You will plan and schedule work on or near Overhead Line Equipment (OLE), ensuring alignment with train operations and compliance with isolation procedures. The role involves creating accurate entries in the Isolation Form Database, generating work orders in the CMMS, and producing performance reports. You'll also contribute to procedural improvements and provide advice, training, and support to staff on Permit to Work processes and working safely near OLE.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling work on or near OLE equipment, with strong knowledge of Traction Power systems and infrastructure.

Proven ability to interpret OLE/electrical drawings, provide technical advice, and execute safety-critical planning with a high level of accuracy and detail.

Proven ability to lead and supervise teams, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality standards are consistently maintained.

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to resolve issues and deliver outcomes under pressure.

Excellent analytical, organisational, and computer skills, including experience with CMMS and Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
