This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to build real-world estimating experience in a structured and supportive environment.

The Role

As a Junior Civil Estimator, you'll work alongside experienced estimators and project teams to help prepare accurate and competitive tenders for civil construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and project specifications

Performing material and quantity take-offs

Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing

Maintaining and updating estimating databases and systems

Supporting handovers to project delivery teams

What We're Looking For

✔️ Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or close to finishing)
✔️ 1–4 years of experience in civil estimating or engineering
✔️ Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
✔️ Good communication and time management skills
✔️ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software (e.g. CostX, Cubit) a plus
✔️ Must be Sydney-based and available to work from our Milperra office full-time
