The Opportunity
This is the ideal role for a Junior Estimator ready to step up into a broader, more senior position with mentorship, autonomy, and exposure to all aspects of civil estimating.

You’ll work closely with the Leadership Team to prepare competitive tender submissions across a variety of projects – from early contractor involvement through to hard dollar bids.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare BOQs, take-offs, and detailed estimates from engineering drawings and specifications

Assist in developing construction methodologies and programs

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotes and pricing

Attend site meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to gather critical project information

Participate in tender handovers and procurement meetings

Contribute to continual improvement of estimating systems and processes

What We're Looking For - Essential

2–5 years of estimating experience (must be in civil construction)

Strong understanding of civil construction scopes (earthworks, stormwater, concrete, etc.)

A proactive attitude and desire to step into more responsibility

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Strong communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

What We're Looking For - Desirable

Experience with estimating software such as Expert Estimation and MudShark desirable but not essential

Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or Construction
