About the Role:
Our client is a cluster of the NSW State Government, who are looking for a Commercial Sourcing Lead to join their Deferred Maintenance Program.
The deferred maintenance program has $150M annual budget, this role will focus on sourcing and contracting for a range of construction and maintenance projects across government assets.
You will be working in a complex, high-volume environment with significant stakeholder engagement and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing and contracting for major maintenance and upgrade projects, including roof and façade works, heritage restorations, amenities upgrades, equipment replacement, teaching space refurbishments, mechanical system replacements, and lift replacements and upgrades.
• Collaborate with central procurement, legal, and multiple internal stakeholders.
• Participate in tender evaluation committees and ensure compliance with NSW Government procurement frameworks.
• Provide leadership to a small team with construction and sourcing backgrounds.
• Deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment with significant reporting demands.

Requirements:

• Strong background in commercial sourcing and contract management within construction, maintenance, or capital works within NSW Government.
• Proven track record managing high-value, complex projects.
• Previous experience in a similar role within Government.
• Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.
