Talent International is partnering with a leading organisation to find a Commercial Sourcing Lead for a game-changing Deferred Maintenance Program. This high-profile initiative has a budget of $150M per year for the next three years and is focused on breathing new life into a portfolio of over 600 heritage buildings. If you're a strategic procurement leader with the drive to deliver impact on a grand scale, this is your opportunity to help preserve history while shaping the future. This is an exciting initial 12-month contract engagement with the view to be extended and is paying an attractive daily rate of $1200.00 PER DAY plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the sourcing and procurement strategy for a diverse range of high-value projects - from roof and façade restorations to teaching space upgrades, mechanical replacements, and lift refurbishments.
• Oversee a talented team while working closely with procurement and legal specialists to ensure smooth delivery and process improvements.
• Navigate a complex, high-volume environment where your expertise in governance, contract management, and stakeholder engagement will truly shine.

What You Bring / Essential Requirements:

• A proven track record in large-scale procurement within construction, infrastructure, or asset-intensive sectors.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in tender evaluation, sourcing strategy, and contract negotiations.
• Experience in government or tertiary education projects is highly valued.
• The ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities without missing a beat.
