We are currently partnering with a dynamic and rapidly growing insurance and investment management group to recruit a talented Senior Accountant. The Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance and process improvement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across both the insurance and investment arms of the business, gaining exposure to complex, interesting work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in line with accounting standards.
• Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and month-end close processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory reporting (including APRA and ASIC requirements).
• Partner with operational and investment teams to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.

About You

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong financial accounting experience, ideally gained in Big 4 audit firm or insurance/financial services group.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
