The Team Leader, Venue Operations leads a team responsible for the effective operational management of the facilities under the care and control of the Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing. This position is responsible for the effective planning and delivery of the portfolio's facility management and operations. This involves maintaining a clear planning, delivery and reporting structure, optimising portfolio benefits from the available resources, implementing procurement processes, administration of the Across Government Facility Management Agreement (AGFMA), contract management, and engagement with a range of stakeholders, government, not for profit and commercial. To achieve this, the role has line management of the Venue Operations team and is responsible for fostering team growth and training and the allocation of resources for facility event management, site inspections and contractor induction / coordination.

Special Conditions

The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.

The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.

Some work outside of normal hours will be required.

This role requires a working with children check.

Current drivers licence essential.
