Powercell’s Sales Administration & Sales Support role is a key contributor to the success of our sales function by providing timely and accurate administrative support to the Sales team based in both the Adelaide office and interstate. This role supports the smooth operation of sales-related processes and systems, ensures accurate data entry and record keeping, assists in customer follow-up activities, and provides basic administrative support for marketing and awareness initiatives.
The position is ideal for an individual who is highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys working as part of a small team. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to delivering exceptional internal and external service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration Support
Provide general day-to-day administrative and operational support to Sales Managers located in Adelaide and interstate.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in our ERP system and associated databases (eg CRM).
Accurately enter and track sales leads, orders, customer interactions, and follow-up actions as per established processes, including:
Accurately enter and manage sales orders
Track order status and liaise with logistics and operations teams
Ensure timely delivery and resolve order-related issues
Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales documentation, proposals, agreements, and reports.
Support logistical arrangements for client presentations, and sales-related events.
Customer Sales, Communication & Follow-up
Respond to all inbound customer enquiries, escalating or redirecting where necessary.
Conduct follow-up and initiate communication with potential and existing customers as directed by Sales Managers (via phone, email or CRM-based workflows).
Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication throughout the sales cycle.
Achieve set internal sales targets and objectives as agreed to with Sales manager.
System and Process Management
Maintain and manage sales administrative systems, including ERP database and CRM records and shared documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in sales administration workflows and support implementation of improvements.
Ensure all data and documents are filed and managed according to internal policies and privacy regulations.
Promotional & Awareness Support
Support basic promotional activities including preparation and distribution of email campaigns, social media content scheduling, or event-related communications.
Generate regular sales, customer & product performance data reports
Assist with the upkeep of marketing lists and contact databases.
Coordinate and track the delivery of promotional materials, collateral, and digital assets as needed.
Help collate feedback from campaigns and events and contribute to basic reporting or insights summaries.

Sales Managers (Adelaide and Interstate)
Purchasing, Operations, Finance and Administration staff
Leadership Team (as required)
External:
Clients and Prospective Clients
External suppliers (e.g. printers, and marketing contractors)
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Demonstrated experience in an administration or support role, preferably within a sales, or customer service environment. (please provide examples / details of experience(s) in such applications or programs).
Excellent data entry, record-keeping, and document management skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM or database systems.
High level of written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Desirable:
Exposure to basic marketing / promotional platforms (e.g., Vision 6, Canva).
Familiarity with supporting events, email campaigns, or social media scheduling / activities.( please provide examples / details of experience)
