Your Role
We are hiring an elite Business Development Manager with proven experience selling cybersecurity, IT, Legal Practice Management Platforms (Dye & Durham, Actionstep, PracticeEvolve, Leap, Lexis, FilePro, Thomson Reuters), Cloud & Digital Transformation, or other enterprise solutions into the Legal Sector in Victoria.
This is a full-cycle B2B role with complete ownership across prospecting, stakeholder engagement, solution development, commercial structuring, and deal closure. You must understand how law firms buy, how partners think, and how to position cybersecurity in the context of legal risk, confidentiality, and client trust.
Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
You must have sold services into mid-sized and large law firms across VIC
You must have existing relationships with Managing Partners, Managing Directors, COOs, or other senior decision-makers in legal
Experience in cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or professional services sales is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities
Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close within the legal vertical
Leverage your existing senior network to create warm introductions and high-velocity deal flow
Lead structured discovery meetings with Managing Partners, Risk/IT leaders, and General Counsel
Collaborate with internal consultants and technical SMEs to design tailored legal-sector offerings
Guide clients through scope, compliance requirements, delivery structure, and commercial terms
Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and report metrics directly to the CEO
What You Bring
Minimum 5+ years in professional services sales, with legal-sector exposure required
Experience closing $100K+ consulting or cybersecurity service deals
Strong understanding of law firm structures, buying cycles, and reputational risk
Confident in discussing data security, ISO 27001, Essential Eight, and governance frameworks
Executive presence, polished communication, and deep credibility with legal buyers
High level of personal accountability and operational discipline
