The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven, technically minded individual looking to begin a rewarding career in sales. You may be in a similar role selling technical products, or you could be within the retail and customer service industry looking to take the next step in your sales career.

Experience in the cabinet making industry would be advantageous, but not essential for this role as comprehensive training will be offered to the right candidate that demonstrates the drive and attitude that makes a good salesperson. Continued training and upskilling is available through in-house training that provides further opportunity for growth within the business!

This would involve offering exceptional service within your area - North Metro, Perth with occasional overnight travel to Esperance and Kalgoorlie. Growing sales and margin revenue through introducing new products, prospecting, and growing “share of wallet” with existing customers. You will also work alongside and be supported by a close-knit sales team.

The successful candidate will be fully supported with a comprehensive induction program coupled with training across Wilson & Bradley’s sales systems, processes, and the wider Wilson & Bradley product range.

Responsibilities

Identifying new sales/business prospects/opportunities and to increase your customer base.

Managing and retaining quality, long term, and personalised relationships with existing customers and stakeholders.

Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.

Identifying evolving customer needs and being aware of new, emerging products and competition in our industry.

Acting with passion, energy, and respect to secure new product sales within your territory.

Developing growth strategies and working in conjunction with the State Sales Manager.

Collaborating with other departments regarding sales and meeting customer needs, such as our Customer Service, Finance and Warehouse teams.

Maintain CRM (Salesforce) records.

Plan daily, weekly and monthly activities.

What you'll need to succeed

A strong desire to take your career in sales to the next level.

Any cabinet-making industry knowledge or knowledge of Blum hardware is highly regarded.

Intermediate computer skills, the ability to use Word, Excel and Outlook (experience with Salesforce is desirable).

Excellent communication, time management, organisation and attention to detail.

Desire to create and maintain strong and impactful relationships with our customers.

Enthusiastic, passionate, positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Team player.

Ability to be innovative and build long term impactful decisions.
