About the role
As our IT Systems Administrator, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things tech - ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and responsive to the needs of our clinical and corporate teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll oversee everything from server and network management to cybersecurity, cloud services, and vendor relations.
This is a hands-on role with strategic influence—perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, community-focused environment.
The key objectives of the role include:
Administer and maintain servers, networks, and cloud services (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams).
Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support and training to staff across multiple sites.
Implement cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with healthcare data standards.
Manage IT procurement, licensing, and asset inventories.
Support telehealth infrastructure and remote communications.
Lead IT projects and contribute to strategic planning and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience –
Essential
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology.
3–5 years’ experience in systems administration (multi-site or healthcare preferred).
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networking.
Experience with cybersecurity tools, cloud platforms (Azure, VMware), and end-user support.
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain), valid driver’s licence, and ability to pass relevant checks.
Desirable
Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, CCNA, ITIL).
Experience with Communicare or similar clinical systems.
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote support tools.
Experience in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations or not-for-profits.
