The Role

There is an exciting role available for a Safety, Quality and Governance Coordinator in our Motor Injury Insurance Division.

This role contributes to the management of safety, quality assurance and governance activities across community health, care, and therapy services delivered to catastrophically injured persons. This role is responsible for overseeing the provider network that supports catastrophically injured individuals, ensuring that consumer experiences remain central to service delivery. It includes the assessment, credentialing, auditing, and ongoing oversight of approved service providers to ensure that all services are evidence-based, compliant with regulatory standards, cost-effective, and tailored to community needs.

The Person

In addition to a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Registered Nurse or similar discipline, current registration with the relevant professional body, and experience in health or community care safety, quality and audit activities, have the capability to:

Use well developed and effective verbal and written communication, negotiation, empathic and influencing skills to provide a high level of customer service, conflict resolution and expectation management;

Work as part of a team that exhibits a constructive and collaborative working environment characterised by diversity and tolerance;

Apply high level and effective stakeholder engagement strategies to assist external providers to deliver high-quality services to persons with catastrophic injuries; and

Contribute to research and service development for a team delivering a high-quality service.

You will receive ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance your skills.
