Executive Level 1 | Strategic ICT Talent Lead

Randstad is seeking a talented and experienced EL1 Strategic ICT Talent Lead to join a key division within a high-profile Federal Government agency. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future workforce of a critical ICT team by developing and implementing strategic talent management initiatives.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the strategic recruitment, retention, and performance management of capability within the division. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, using your expertise to diagnose organisational performance gaps and build a high-performing and innovative culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic talent identification and management plans, focusing on enhancing the skills of the workforce and succession planning.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and drive performance management strategies across the division.

Analyse workforce trends to forecast future labour requirements and support senior leaders with workforce planning.

Coach and mentor senior leaders to improve leadership abilities, communication, and the delivery of effective performance feedback.

Collaborate with business leaders to create development programs for ICT and digital roles.

Identify and promote best practices to facilitate continuous improvement within the function.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in talent management and a strong understanding of recruitment policies and guidelines.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Experience in successfully managing risk and developing risk assessments.

Exceptional personal drive, integrity, and the ability to deliver positive results with competing priorities and time constraints.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to working with political neutrality.
