The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced PMO Program Lead to drive strategic portfolio management, governance, and performance oversight for a large, high-impact transformation program. You will lead a PMO team, engage closely with senior executives, and ensure the program achieves its milestones and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and refine governance and portfolio management frameworks.

Lead and mentor a team of PMO professionals across reporting, risk, scheduling, and performance tracking.

Build and manage relationships with executives, delivery partners, and stakeholders.

Provide assurance on delivery, business readiness, and KPI achievement.

Produce high-quality reports, governance artefacts, and executive briefings.

Oversee program health monitoring and risk management, reporting to governance bodies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Extensive leadership experience in PMO functions within complex, large-scale programs.

Expert knowledge of portfolio methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile.

Strong stakeholder management skills, including with senior executives.

Advanced analytical and strategic thinking, with strong communication skills.

Experience in governance, performance management, and process improvement across multidisciplinary teams.

All candidates must be Australian Citizens with a current Baseline or higher security clearance.
