Stand-down Periods: Mandated breaks over Christmas and other program-aligned intervals, estimated 32 weeks worked over 12 months

This is a rare opportunity to influence the full outsourcing lifecycle, from initiation through to transition, within a modernising technology environment.

🔍 Your New Role
As the ICT Procurement Manager, you'll be the contractual lead for a strategic sourcing initiative.
You'll:

• Develop the full RFT suite and supporting artefacts for a major ICT services engagement.
  
• Draft complex contractual documentation aligned with governance and approval processes.
  
• Lead evaluation, negotiation, and transition activities across the procurement lifecycle.
  
• Collaboration with costing and requirements leads to shaping performance and governance frameworks.
  
• Provide expert advice on procurement risk mitigation, compliance, and contract management.
  
• Work closely with legal and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  

🎯 What You'll Bring
To thrive in this role, you'll offer:

• 15+ years' experience in ICT outsourcing and strategic procurement advisory.
  
• Deep knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and their application in ICT contexts.
  
• Proven ability to manage complex procurements, draft high-value contracts, and lead negotiations.
  
• Strong understanding of ICT licencing, service delivery models, and transition planning.
  
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and written communication skills.
  
• Legal qualifications and extensive contract management experience (highly desirable).
  
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with flexible attendance cycles.
