Randstad is seeking an experienced and highly motivated EL1 Change Manager to lead a critical program within a prominent Federal Government department. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a program that will enhance Australia's national security interests and deliver on an important international commitment.

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering the change strategy for a multi-year, multi-phase program focused on improving passport security and integrity in the Pacific. You will lead a dedicated team of experts and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve key government commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive change strategy, including interventions, communications, and governance.

Provide subject matter expertise and direct the capability uplift of a partner nation team.

Manage program risks and issues, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met.

Lead a cross-functional team, providing direction and guidance to achieve program goals.

Prepare and present reports to senior management and governance forums.

Liaise with internal and external agencies, fostering strong collaborative relationships.

Skills and Experience

Change Management Expertise: Strong background in change management, including strategy development and implementation within complex projects.

Leadership and Initiative: Proven ability to lead a team independently, manage multiple priorities, and work with broad direction.

Cultural Awareness: Experience working on culturally sensitive projects, with a proven ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders respectfully.

Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to think strategically, assess risks, and develop solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Well-developed capacity for collaboration and communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
