As the Learning Engagement Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in connecting schools with the University of Melbourne's world-class cultural institutions. You'll have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies, coordinate engaging community events, and contribute to the growth of diverse learning communities. Working across multiple prestigious venues, you'll gain invaluable experience in cultural education while making a lasting impact on student experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Contribute to annual plans and coordinate school marketing campaigns across multiple cultural venues.
- Create Engaging Content: Co-create and distribute content for social media, email, and web channels to reach educational audiences.
- Coordinate Community Events: Manage logistics for school events, VIP visits, and support the delivery of innovative learning programs.
- Maintain Digital Platforms: Oversee learning program websites, online booking systems, and school contact databases.
- Foster Partnerships: Leverage local, national, and international school networks to expand the reach of educational programs.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a creative and organised professional with experience in marketing, communications, or cultural engagement, possessing excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
You may also:
- Have a relevant tertiary qualification or experience in cultural, public engagement, or marketing environments.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Have experience in coordinating marketing campaigns and creating content for various digital platforms.
- Show proficiency in budget management and reporting.
- Be passionate about cultural education and committed to fostering inclusivity and diversity in learning programs.
