About the Role
We are seeking a talented, professional, and dedicated Level 1 ICT Service Technician to join our iTLC Perth Team. This is a full-time, hybrid work-from-home role based in Perth, Western Australia. You’ll work from home and at client sites and Datacenter across the Perth metropolitan area, giving you flexibility to balance your professional and personal commitments.
Note to be eligible for this role, you MUST be an Australian Permanent Resident, hold a valid Australian Driver’s License, and have your own reliable vehicle. The successful candidates will need a National Police Clearance and be able to obtain Working with Children Check.
Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
What you will be doing
Providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting for a range of IT systems and applications.
Responding to user requests and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Documenting and tracking support activities and resolutions.
Assisting with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software
Escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed
Continuously improving your skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service
What we are looking for
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Australian Permanent Resident minimum + Australian driver’s License & reliable car essential - Mandatory
At least a minimum 1 year of experience in a similar ICT support or helpdesk role (applicants without this will not be eligible).
Excellent communication and customer service skills ( fluent clear written and verbal English skills a prerequisite)
Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows), networking, and common software applications - if you have never installed an Operating System, switch or dont know what a WAP or UPS is, this is not the role for you.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Platinum level time management skills.
You will need to have good sense of humour and be team focused.
Experience with the following systems would be beneficial. HaloPSA, N-able Suite, 365 Administration Basics, Windows Server and macOS
