We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our dynamic team at Australian Car Audio Pty Ltd in Kilsyth, Victoria. This is a part-time role that offers the opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment. As our Book Keeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of our accounting processes.

Please note: This is an on-site role; remote work is not available.

What you'll be doing

Reconciling bank accounts and managing accounts payable and receivable

Weekly payroll ( processed on Monday )

Assisting external Accountant with month-end and year-end closing processes

Supporting the owners with general bookkeeping through XERO

Debt collection on overdue accounts

Handling your own emails and occasional phone calls

General administrative duties and data Entry

We’re looking for someone with:

Full working rights in Australia

Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping, such as a Certificate IV in Accounting or equivalent (preferred)

At least 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within the automotive or wholesale industry

Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to financial record-keeping

Proficiency in using Xero accounting software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments

Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
