Primary Purpose
This role is responsible for driving new business growth and managing key client relationships.
You will be a strategic partner to the Managing Director and a key driver of Qtech’s sales performance and market position. You will contribute to sales strategy, lead generation, and solution delivery across the water treatment and services sector.
Position Context
• Reports directly to the Managing Director
• Collaborates with the full Qtech operations and technical team
• Accountable for pipeline generation, revenue delivery, and client satisfaction
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Growth
Develop and implement a sales plan aligned with company targets
Actively identify new opportunities in target sectors such as mining, construction, F&B, and industrial services
Lead new business development activities including lead generation, presentations, proposals, and pipeline tracking
Support development of pricing and contract structures in collaboration with management
Contribute to overall profitability through revenue growth and commercial acumen
Account & Client Management
Maintain strong client relationships with consistent communication and service excellence
Retain and grow business within existing accounts
Collaborate internally to ensure seamless service delivery and technical alignment
Ensure client feedback is integrated into continuous improvement
Marketing & Business Representation
Support the development and execution of the marketing calendar
Represent Qtech at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Help organise and participate in promotional events and customer visits
Provide input into brand positioning and competitor analysis
Autonomy & Decision Rights
Authority to escalate any risks or operational concerns to the MD
Ability to recommend and implement improvements in the sales process
Autonomy in managing client relationships, marketing activity, and business development efforts
Empowered to make commercial decisions within agreed boundaries
Performance Expectations
Consistent delivery against annual revenue growth targets
Demonstrated activity in pipeline generation, meetings, and proposals
Strong account retention and client satisfaction results
Active participation in reporting, planning, and cross-functional collaboration
Remuneration Package
Base Salary
Start $105,000 + Superannuation
